These folks are doing a great job of offering a good product at a good price. I call ahead for carryout. Usually my travel trip is longer than the wait so they adjust the time. The fish on a fish sandwich will exceed the size of the bun. The chips(fries) are more than enough. Sometimes closed for fair and festivals. A very good place.
Not sure why but, I only went to the fair to get Madison's fish. Then I realized I can have it anytime I want and I don't have to pay for admission. Lol I LOVE their fish sandwich!!! So yummy! My new added favorite if their mushrooms. If you haven't tried them, you definitely need too! Great local restaurant!
Best fish ever! I know alot of people think you can only get your Madison Fish sandwich at the fair or local festival. But you can get it year round at their restaurant on Madison Ave. Thank you Mike and Crew!

The best fish around!!! The tenderloin is another favorite. Fish, fries and slaw best meal in town! Lots of good food and very reasonable. Love going to eat here or catching them at a local festival!!!! Nothing more to update been around since i was a kid (maybe longer) and been the same delicious food.
Is this place fancy, no, but what it does have is excellent fish sandwiches that are reasonably priced and HUGE! This place is a diamond in the rough, and every time I go here, I'm always blown away by the quality and quality for the price.
Madison’s came highly recommended. It did not disappoint! Opt in for the tartar sauce! We got the fish sandwich and split it.
I’ve been in Lancaster for several years and, regretfully, this is this first time I’ve had a fish sandwich from Madison’s. I had every intention of saving some for my husband, but before I knew it, I had consumed it all. This was by far the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had. I will definitely be going back.....and maybe taking my husband with me.
